The DC 50 is the premier way for sportsmen to track their dogs. This all-weather collar is waterproof up to 10 meters and can survive even the harshest elements.
The DC 50 includes a top-mounted high-sensitivity GPS and GLONASS-enabled receiver that works with Garmin’s Astro 320-handheld. GLONASS is up to 20 percent faster than GPS. When working together, GPS and GLONASS can lock onto 24 more satellites than using GPS alone, meaning the DC 50 can find your dog more quickly and with extreme accuracy, even in deep canyons and heavy tree cover.
The DC 50 features a braided steel antenna, replacing the flexible antennas of the DC 40 and DC 30. The new antenna improves reliability and gives you a range of up to nine miles on flat surfaces. The DC 50 comes with improved battery life of 26-54 hours, depending on the update rate. And, with bark detection, you’ll know when your dog is trying to get your attention, even when you can’t hear it.

Have more than one dog? Well, the DC 50 transmitters, sold separately, allow you to track up 10 dogs at once with the Astro 320. You can also purchase a replaceable collar strap, which makes dog identifying even easier. You can set program your receiver for updates ever 5, 10, 30 or 120 seconds, and the PIN-based collar lock prevents unauthorized Astro users from tracking your dog.
